DucTitea® Reducers conform to 2009 IRC M1601.4.1 which requires joints and seams to be "Substantially Airtight". Available in many popular sizes, the DucTitea® Reducer works equally well for rigid snap lock pipe or with flexible duct. The streamlined design provides improved air flow with less turbulence due to the shallower transition angle. While longer than a conventional "seamed" reducer, its design allows for more compact storage - more parts in less space. Embossed with the familiar DucTitea® logo, it provides a ready witness to contractors and inspectors that no additional sealing or taping is needed with this Factory Sealed fitting.
