The Goodman GDH81005CX is a multi-speed gas furnace. It uses a dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger. It is housed in a fully-insulated heavy-gauge steel cabinet with a durable baked-enamel finish and additional foil-faced insulation lining the heat exchanger compartment itself. The four-speed direct-drive circulating blower motor of this unit works quietly to adjust to changing temperature demands.

This Goodman gas furnace is a two-stage, multi-speed, multi-position heater. This gas furnace uses a self-adjusting feature that changes furnace to high- or low-stage modes based on outside temperatures. It uses a durable 110V Silicon Nitride igniter to maintain a comfortable temperature in the home. This Goodman gas furnace has a heating capacity of 100,000 BTU.

This heater comes from the GDH8 line of Goodman gas furnaces. This collection of Goodman gas furnaces has up to 80% AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating. Many standard furnaces feature 60% AFUE, which means that this system can contribute to significant energy savings. This unit is a Low NOx emissions model from this collection.

This multi-position Goodman gas heater offers many installation options. It can be installed in upflow or horizontal left or right positions. This model features a low constant fan to improve the efficiency of air circulation in the home and a self-diagnosing control board that saves the last five diagnostic codes in memory.
